Whether you are a performing artist looking to expand your skill or a beginner looking to get started, from Classical to Rock, LMI has room for you! About Rebekah Laur'en
Rebekah Laur'en is a Singer/Songwriter/Composer and Producer from the DMV hometown: Woodbridge, VA. Holding a Bachelors degree in Vocal Performance from Westminster Choir College where she gained her classical training as a Full Lyric Soprano. Rebekah has performed on major stages such as Carnegie Hall, The Kemmel Center and the Kennedy Center amongst others.
Rebekah Laur'en took another route aside from Opera. After graduating Rebekah Laur'en took her training and went forward with the continuation of creating her own original music in the genres of R&B, Soul, Pop and other genres while still performing classical works. Through her music she aims to be a true respresentation of love, healing and change. She also aims to touch the hearts of others and to bring about healing as she herself has used music for the processes of healing. In her vision, she has always seen herself helping to bring about other true authentic heart felt musicians into the world as well.

Requirements
The Information You Need
Hello Musical Geniuses! Once you have decided to go forward, either Piano, Song Writing and Composition students are required to perform one song if you have one prepared. Singers regardless of your experience, you are to prepare a piece as if it is an audition. Please do not stress out about this process this is all simply to hear and see the student musically. Alongside the audition there is also a placement test, this is just to see where your level of music theory and skill set is. This Audition and Test can be emailed in as a video recording.

For the time being all lessons will be held via Zoom for the safety of all.
